    •  THIRD PARTY NAVIGATIONAL AUDIT:

Weprevett provides a third party navigation audit service while the vessel is en route, covering various aspects of navigation such as pilotage, strait/river transit, berthing, unberthing, and anchoring. The bridge team’s coordination and regulatory compliance are closely observed during open sea and restricted water navigation. The operational status of bridge equipment, staff awareness and competence, familiarity with bridge equipment, records, and log keeping are also thoroughly assessed. Special attention is given to ECDIS compliance, update status, staff familiarity, and use during navigation.

Weprevett has a team of proficient master mariners dedicated to delivering comprehensive navigational audits that ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company procedures, and industry best practices. The audit assesses on-board bridge team navigational standards (Element 5 in TMSA) and includes questionnaires/checklists based on the CDI/SIRE VIQ, gap analysis in terms of TMSA and industry standards, and onboard training to enhance comprehensive navigation practices.

Findings from the audit are discussed with all bridge team members, and corrective actions are demonstrated and explained. Dedicated training sessions for ECDIS are also included during the ship visit. With Weprevett’s third party navigation audit service, clients can be assured of securing the finest onboard navigation practices, leading to an enhanced reputation.

       CARGO AND MOORING AUDITS:

At Weprevett, we conduct comprehensive Cargo & Mooring Audits to ensure that our clients’ vessels comply with international regulations and company procedures related to cargo and mooring operations. Our audits aim to review, assess, and evaluate the skills and proficiency levels of the cargo team members, the effective functioning of the cargo team during various stages of cargo and mooring operations, and the compliance with documentation, company policies, and record-keeping.

In addition to ensuring compliance, we also suggest and promote safe cargo and mooring practices and good seamanship. We identify additional training needs for individuals or vessels and provide follow-up training as required. We also verify that there is adequate supervision of junior officers and training of cadets during critical operations. Our goal is to provide our clients with the highest level of safety and operational excellence in cargo and mooring operations.
